About
Lori Gabert, MS, LPC, CAADC
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Criminology from Albright College and my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Studies from Chestnut Hill College. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
I have worked in the mental and behavioral health field since 2009. I spent 13 years with a not-for-profit organization, where I developed and refined both my clinical expertise and leadership skills. Beginning my career as a mental health therapist, I quickly advanced through a series of promotions, becoming a subject matter expert in substance use disorders and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). In 2018, I was selected to transfer to the organization’s largest Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), and in 2021 I was promoted to Regional Director.

In 2023, I found myself searching for a new opportunity. Holding onto the belief that “everything happens for a reason,” I began my job search and was fortunate to join Rosewood Recovery in February 2023 as the Clinical Program Director. As the program was newly opening in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I was excited to bring my experience to help build and shape a program dedicated to supporting individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. At Rosewood Recovery, I oversee the design and development of the clinical program, ensure regulatory compliance, supervise clinical staff, and provides both individual, family, and group therapy in addition to maintaing the Alumni Program. I remain deeply committed to advocating for clients and supporting them as they build meaningful, sustainable recovery.

I have developed and delivered training presentations for Penn State Abington and Middlesex College psychology students, University of Pennsylvania School of Social Policy & Practice students, and the Business Association of West Parkside. I also speaks, upon request, at Widener University for career counseling classes. I am a skilled presenter and have delivered sessions at both the Pennsylvania Certification Board (PCB) and the Pennsylvania Association of Addiction Professionals (PAAP) conferences. In addition, I have served as an expert witness in litigation matters.
My work has been recognized with the Young Alumni Award from Albright College in 2015 and the Recovery Champion Award from the Philadelphia Mayor’s Commission on Addiction and Recovery in 2021.

My therapeutic style is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe in meeting clients where they are and creating a safe space where people feel heard, respected, and supported in their growth. The modalities I gravitate toward the most are: Person-Centered Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Solution-Focused Interventions. I specialize in: Addiction and Co-Occurring Disorders, including Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT), Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Suicidal Ideation, and Emotional Regulation.

Outside of her work at Rosewood, Lori also provides clinical supervision for clinicians working toward licensure in Pennsylvania. One of the most rewarding parts of her career has been mentoring and supporting other professionals as they grow in the field.
When she’s not working, Lori can often be found curled up with a book, usually with at least one of her pets nearby. She is a super aunt! Lori enjoys being creative and loves paint-by-numbers—you might even spot some of her work around Rosewood. A proud Disney fan and a Hufflepuff through and through, she embraces both magic and imagination in her everyday life.
